The Little Red Hen

Mia has a small red hen named Ruby. Ruby lives in a cozy coop behind Mia's house. Every morning, Ruby wakes up early. She walks in the yard and pecks at seeds on the ground. Mia fills Ruby's water dish and brings fresh corn. Ruby clucks softly when Mia comes near. At night, Ruby rests on a soft bed of straw. Mia likes to watch Ruby tuck her head under her wing. Ruby is Mia's happy farm friend.

Puppies at Play

Three puppies play in the park. One puppy is brown. One is white with black spots. One is golden and fluffy. They run after a bright blue ball. The brown puppy catches it first. The other two puppies bark and wag their tails. A girl named Ana sits on a bench and claps. The puppies bring the ball back to her. Ana throws it again. The puppies jump and spin with joy.
